The founder of the dental practice that bears her name, Dr. Amy M. Woo, DDS embraces a strong passion and deep dedication to providing her patients with outstanding dental care. After majoring in pharmacy at the University of the Pacific (UOP) in Stockton, California, Dr. Woo went on to graduate from the UOP School of Dentistry. She was awarded her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1989.

Active in both professional and community services, Dr. Woo is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association,and the Sacramento District Dental Society.

She lives in Sacramento with her husband, Gary, and their two children. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her family and participating in various sports, including snow skiing, golfing, and boating.

Dr. Balcom earned her bachelor's degree in biology, with a minor in chemistry, from California State University, Sacramento. She was vice president of her dental class at the University of California, San Francisco, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1994.

Her professional memberships include the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Sacramento District Dental Society, and the American River Dental Study Club.

Dr. Balcom lives with her husband and daughter in her native Sacramento. Her favored recreational activities include camping, scrapbooking, photography, reading, and volunteering in the community.
