Amy M. Woo, DDS
The founder of the dental practice that bears her name, Dr. Amy M. Woo, DDS
embraces a strong passion and deep dedication to providing her patients with outstanding
dental care. She places particular emphasis on creating an environment where those
who depend on her services can enjoy peace of mind and freedom from anxiety.
Dr. Woo was featured in Sacramento Magazine as one of the top 10 dentists in the region,
a distinction voted upon by her industry peers. In addition, she and her office staff were
given high marks by patients because of the considerate and compassionate treatment
they receive on a regular basis.
After majoring in pharmacy at the University of the Pacific (UOP) in Stockton, California,
Dr. Woo went on to graduate from the UOP School of Dentistry. She was awarded her
Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1989.
Active in both professional and community services, Dr. Woo is a member of the American
Dental Association, the California Dental Association,and the Sacramento District Dental Society.
She lives in Sacramento with her husband, Gary, and their two children. In her leisure time,
she enjoys spending time with her family and participating in various sports, including
snow skiing, golfing, and boating.

Kristine E. Balcom, DDS
The senior associate to the team of professionals at Dr Amy Woo dentistry,
Kristine E. Balcom, DDS enjoys both the challenges and the rewards of her profession.
Her commitment to excellent service is enriched by a strong sense of empathy for her
patients' needs and comfort, driving her to make a pleasant, gratifying visit her top priority.
Admired and respected by her peers, Dr. Balcom was named by them as one of the region's
top 10 dentists, an honor that appeared in Sacramento Magazine.
Dr. Balcom earned her bachelor's degree in biology, with a minor in chemistry, from California
State University, Sacramento. She was vice president of her dental class at the University of
California, San Francisco, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1994.
Her professional memberships include the American Dental Association, the California Dental
Association, the Sacramento District Dental Society, and the American River Dental Study Club.
Dr. Balcom lives with her husband and daughter in her native Sacramento. Her favored
recreational activities include camping, scrapbooking, photography, reading, and volunteering
in the community.

Angela Lin, DDS, MS
Expanding the offerings of Dr. Amy Woo Dentistry, Angela Lin, DDS, MS is a board-certified periodontist specializing in the treatment of gum disease and in the surgical placement of dental implants.
Dr. Lin attended California State University, San Francisco, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in cell and molecular biology and minored in chemistry. In 2000, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University in New York. After returning to California, she earned a master’s degree in oral biology and completed her residency in periodontics at the University of California, San Francisco in 2003, focusing on modern techniques in periodontal regeneration and dental implantology.
Her professional affiliations include the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontology, where she is a diplomate on the organization’s board.
Dr. Lin grew up in the Bay Area and currently resides in San Francisco. In her spare time, she enjoys Argentina tango dancing, opera and snow skiing.

Gina D. Crippen, DDS
An associate dentist with Dr. Amy Woo’s practice, Gina D. Crippen, DDS is committed to patient satisfaction. Because she has a deep respect for each individual’s unique needs, she makes a point of discovering the most effective and comfortable ways to serve her patients. The result is a consistent atmosphere of openness, warmth, and contentment.
After studying biology at California State University, Sacramento, Dr. Crippen followed in the footsteps of her father, Juan Delgado, DDS. She attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, where she excelled in academics and enhanced her innate interpersonal skills. She obtained her doctorate in dentistry and graduated with honors in 2004.
Dr. Crippen embraces a strong dedication to heightening her expertise, and is actively involved in a diversity of professional organizations and clubs. These include the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Sacramento District Dental Society, the American Endodontic Society, and the Advanced Aesthetics Study Club.
Dr. Crippen lives in Sacramento with her husband, Dr. David Crippen, a pediatric dentist. Her favorite leisure activities include traveling, water skiing, snow skiing, painting, jewelry making, and spending time with family and friends.

Kelly A. Brewer, DDS
The newest addition to Dr. Amy Woo’s practice, Kelly A. Brewer DDS has spent the majority of her life working in the dental profession, striving to deliver comprehensive, quality care that focuses on creating and maintaining a healthy and beautiful smile. Her primary goal is to meet patients’ functional and esthetic needs and her warm personality helps patients feel relaxed and at ease. At the age of 13, she became California’s youngest ever Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and continued to work in a general practice office.
After completing both the General and Organic Chemistry series at UC Davis while still in high school, Dr. Brewer decided to continue her education at UCD and study Biochemistry. With an active involvement on campus and student government, she was received the Outstanding Senior Award in 2004. Next, she attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and obtained her doctorate in dentistry in 2009.
Community service has always been an integral part of Dr. Brewer’s life and she has donated her services both to her local community clinic as well as abroad. While in dental school, she participated in a dental mission that worked in conjunction with the local Peruvian Rotary Club to offer dental services to adults and children with limited or no access to care. Her memberships include the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.
Dr. Brewer currently resides in Davis, where she spent most of her life growing up. She enjoys training for marathons, black and white photography, snowboarding, backpacking, and traveling the world.
