Born and raised in the Philippines, Dr. Nicole Sarmiento moved to the United States as a teenager, where she was inspired by her father — also a dentist — to pursue a career in Dentistry. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC.
Dr. Sarmiento is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Sacramento District Dental Society. Fluent in both Tagalog and English, she is committed towards creating a welcoming and patient-focused environment.
After several years in both Philadelphia and San Diego, Dr. Sarmiento recently relocated to Sacramento with her husband and their newborn daughter. Outside of the clinic she enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and spending quality time with family. Eager to settle into Sacramento, Dr. Sarmiento is excited to explore its vibrant culture and scenic surroundings. She’d love to meet you and hear your favorite local spots!
